Steps to Clean Out The Pump Basket:
- Turn main filter pump off and pool cleaner pump off.
- Close all valves (skimmers, main drains, and returns).
- Un-screw and release the lid from the pump and remove basket.
- Remove all waste and wash basket with hose from outer side of basket to remove waste in holes of basket.
- Replace basket and put lid back on.
- Re-open all valves.
- Turn main filter pump back on.
- Check pressure on filter (12 to 20 psi).
